Pollen Press - 2x4 Rosin Pre Press Mold
Do You Really Need Rosin Pre-Press Mold?
A > I just got a prepess and I can't believe it took me this long to get one. If you're not gonna be doing more than a couple grams at a time it might not be worth it but if you have a bunch to process I'd say definitely get one. Yield depends mainly on strain/cure/humidity. With my prepress I squish 10-14g in 90micron bags on a 12ton. I get 25% yield that is straight up gold from my GG4 outdoor. However same setup I've gotten 10-15% on other strains.
I can run a half lb of nugs in a few hours now with my prepress compared to a day or 2 hand packing bags before with the same weight.
B > Definitely doesn’t help with yields. When you pre press your forcing the oil through more undesirables, this tends to lower yields and quality. To maintain yields with bricks you will have to increase temps and pressure. For quality flower rosin I say it’s like eating an elephant one bite at a time. More small presses, it’s faster to hand pack screens.
C > A rosin pre press mold allow you to compact cannabis or kief so that you can press more rosin in less time. This ultimately decreases production time while increasing your ROI. Puck size is 3.5 x 2 inches which allows users to press multiple cannabis or kief pucks simultaneously between each platen set.
